Job Description
The Property Tax Manager oversees property tax accounting, compliance, and reporting for Public Storage's real estate portfolio, ensuring accurate accruals, timely filings and payments, and strong internal controls.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' experience in property tax and real estate accounting
  • Experience within a public REIT or large real estate organization is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and internal control environments
  • Hand-on experience with accrual accounting, monthly close, and account reconciliations
  • Proficiency with property management and enterprise financial systems such as OneSource, PTMS and SAP
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMI preferred
