Role OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable full-time Maintenance Technician to support Eighteen87 on Water, a 79-unit community in downtown Milwaukee. The successful candidate will handle work orders, unit turns, and preventive maintenance to keep the property running smoothly.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and heating and cooling repairs, groundskeeping, and general carpentry and drywall repairs. They will also assist with cleaning and janitorial requests, paint units and common areas, and troubleshoot and repair appliances.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience required
- Multi-family property maintenance experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing, groundskeeping, and troubleshooting
- Must be able to physically inspect the properties
- Maintain valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Flexibility with working hours and availability for on-call emergencies
- Ability to prioritize and possess efficient time management skills
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with ability to handle complaints in a positive and time efficient manner
- Goal-oriented and team player
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and respect through appearance and interactions with others
