Role Overview

The Co-Op & Commercial Property Manager is responsible for the effective, efficient management of an assigned portfolio of co-operative housing properties and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and organizational policies. What You Will Do

The Property Manager will be responsible for facilitating the filling of assigned cooperative vacancies, tenant lease-up, maintenance of tenant files, rent collections, late notices, and eviction notices. They will also perform exterior inspections of sites, coordinate move-out inspections, collect and compile data, and prepare reports. Additionally, they will develop property budgets, maintain waitlists, attend Co-Op Board meetings, and work with Co-Op committees and boards on LIHTC, HUD, etc. programs, financial reports, and trainings.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience in commercial property management, condominium management, residential property management, or a similar field. They will also have a college degree in Business Management or a related field, and experience in and knowledge of commercial property management, resident-owned or controlled housing, federal, state, and Burlington Landlord/Tenant laws and regulations. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills are also required.

Requirements
