Role Overview

The Property Record Specialist performs various duties assigned by management, ensuring accurate property values are recorded, updated, and certified for fair and accurate property tax billings. This role supports taxpayers, county officials, and other stakeholders by maintaining reliable property records, processing ownership and sales information, and assisting with taxpayer programs and appeals.

Maintain accurate property records, process ownership and sales information, assist with taxpayer programs and appeals, and perform various duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • One year of post-secondary education or training
  • One year of job-related experience
  • Work experience in appraisal, assessment, auditing, accounting, banking, data entry, bookkeeping, records management, customer service, or a real estate related field
  • Pass the department's CORE Assessment training within the first year of employment
