Proposal Manager

LabConnect is a global company that partners with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to accelerate the development of new medicines. As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for managing individual study quotation preparation and timelines to exceed customer expectations. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve the quality and timeliness of quotation submissions.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include preparing quotations using the company's pricing tools, obtaining third-party vendor quotes, participating in strategy calls and budget review calls, and assisting in making recommendations on desirable proposals. You will also act as an expert resource to internal and external customers and participate in Proposal Management initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science, business, or marketing related discipline
• 3-5 years customer service or related experience
• Experience in a contract research and/or research setting preferred
• Ability to perform calculations and manage budgets
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues and clients
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Aptitude for learning new database software quickly
