Proposal Manager

As a Proposal Manager at HDR, you'll lead teams through the proposal process, develop winning strategies, and create compelling client-focused messaging. You'll partner with business development leaders, project managers, and technical staff to drive pursuits that position HDR for success. This role goes beyond simply responding to requests for proposals, shaping pursuit strategy, facilitating collaboration across teams, and ensuring proposals clearly articulate why HDR is the best choice for clients.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include leading pursuit teams, facilitating kickoff meetings, developing proposal schedules, maintaining procurement requirements, and engaging resources to support proposal and interview development efforts. You'll also lead proposal reviews, quality control efforts, and debriefs to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field
• A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated 'self-starter' with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
• Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
