Role OverviewThe Proposal Manager will work directly with our team to deliver high-quality and compliant proposals, develop submissions for various awards, and other internal tasks such as quarterly newsletters and other marketing projects as they arise. The role requires maintaining a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities, splitting time between developing competitive proposal submissions and tracking upcoming bid opportunities.
What You Will Do
Create and manage proposal development schedules, draft standard proposal language, prepare graphics/layouts in Adobe InDesign or similar software, assist in completing standard RFP forms, qualification statements, and other submission documentation, organize and maintain an updated library of historical project data, and provide support for all Departments.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in proposal coordination within heavy civil construction, engineering, or similar project-driven industries
- Experience with alternative delivery method pursuits (Design-Build, CMAR, Progressive Design-Build, etc.)
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in proofing and compliance
- Strong communication/writing skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
