Role OverviewThe Proposal Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle development and management of proposals, reporting to the Vice President of Proposal Operations. This individual will work with a team of talented and bright minds in the GovCon industry.
What You Will Do
The Proposal Manager will develop proposal development materials, provide writing support, perform copyediting, and ensure proposals are clearly written and consistent. They will also manage proposal writers, graphic artists, and subject matter experts.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher education (Journalism or related field preferred)
- 3 years of Federal proposal full cycle development and management of proposals experience
- 5 years of proposal development experience
- Strong technical writing and copyediting experience
- Strong desktop publishing experience
- Familiarity with the Shipley Proposal Process
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite (MS Word and PowerPoint Required)
- Comfortable taking ownership and accountability to produce high quality proposal responses
- Ability to write, edit, produce and review proposals, white papers, and request for information responses to federal agencies
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously solve problems and adhere to strict and often tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team leader
- Dynamic interpersonal skills required to interact with all levels of management
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced deadline-oriented work environment completing multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work nights and weekends when required to meet deadlines
