Role OverviewThe Prosecuting Attorney Intern will assist in the investigation and prosecution of violations of the New York City Administrative Code and TLC Rules. The role involves managing a caseload, representing the Taxi and Limousine Commission at administrative hearings, and negotiating settlements. The intern will gain broad, practical litigation experience and develop advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
What You Will Do
The intern will prepare cases, examine witnesses, introduce documentary evidence, and present legal arguments before Administrative Law Judges. They will also assist with Port Authority summonses, prosecute vehicle seizure matters, and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of cases to negotiate fair and effective plea agreements and settlements.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited United States law school as defined in the Rules of the New York Court of Appeals (Sections 520.3 or 520.5) or admission to the New York State Bar
