Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Protection and Controls Engineer (P.E.) to support our growing Energy Business Line’s Engineering Center of Excellence in Grid Modernization programs, projects, and pursuits. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering design and technology principles, experience in protection and controls, and a high level of initiative, motivation, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 6 years of relevant protection and controls experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Preferred: 10 yrs experience with a minimum of 2 years as project lead, knowledge of FERC and NERC requirements, experience with IEC61850
