Job Description
HDR is seeking a Protection and Relaying Project Engineer to join their team of Power Delivery professionals. The role involves performing engineering tasks with varying levels of complexity, including protective relay calculations and coordination studies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical power system analysis, protective device application, and substation design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical power system analysis, protective device application, and substation design
  • Familiarity with power system analysis software: CAPE, Aspen, ETAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, and electrical design software
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
  • Familiarity with Transmission and Distribution industry protection schemes and philosophies
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
