Role OverviewThe Protective Security Officer will maintain the overall security and integrity of the command, protecting personnel, property, facilities, and critical assets. Provide professional armed security and access control services, safeguard government property, and respond decisively to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid Social Security Card
- Minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-duty law enforcement experience with a recognized agency
- Minimum of two (2) years of honorable service in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces
- Demonstrated proficiency with a handgun and ability to meet all certification standards
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including report writing
- Familiarity with facility and/or vehicle security procedures
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation, drug screening, and physical examination
- Ability to meet MRPT suitability requirements
- Physically capable of performing all essential job duties
