Role OverviewThe Richard Rappa District Office for Farmers Insurance is seeking multiple Agents In Training (Protege Agents) who are ready to build strong customer relationships, develop professionally, and grow within the insurance industry.
What You Will Do
As an Agent In Training | Protege Agent, you will help individuals and families identify insurance solutions that fit their needs. Your responsibilities will include: contacting prospective customers, following up consistently with leads, asking thoughtful questions, preparing and presenting insurance quotes, and selling auto, home, renters, life, business, and other insurance products.

Requirements
- Previous sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, call center, or financial-services experience
- Ability to pass applicable background checks and satisfy carrier appointment requirements
- Property and Casualty insurance license
- Life and Health insurance license
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn agency software and quoting systems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire for business ownership, independence, and financial growth
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, identify customer needs, and close business in a consultative sales environment
