Job Description
Develops and maintains the BCN and Blue Cross Provider websites, responsible for analysis, design, testing, and implementation of Web solutions and exploration of new digital communication opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Graphic Design, Web Design or related field
  • Three years of related work experience in a design environment
  • Usability Certification preferred
  • Experience in metrics, analytics, and data reporting preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead, direct and positively influence the work of others
  • Ability to publish content within an enterprise content management system
  • Knowledge of Acrobat Professional, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Captivate and Access software
  • Knowledge of Blue Cross/BCN corporate design guidelines, policies and procedures and the health care industry preferred
  • Familiarity with the Blues provider systems
  • Knowledge of Web development tools (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and SharePoint), programming languages such as HTML, XML, CSS and related software tools
  • Graphic design and layout (InDesign) skills
  • Creative, self-starting, detail oriented, technically savvy with strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
