Role OverviewThe NYC Department of Homeless Services is seeking Registered Nurses to join its Crisis Intervention Team. In this field-based role, you will provide direct medical and mental health care to individuals experiencing homelessness across New York City.
What You Will Do
Conduct medical, mental health, and safety assessments for individuals in need, partner with crisis coordinators and community partners, and deliver direct medical care in field and office settings.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for active New York State RN License holders with a minimum of 2 years of mental/behavioral health experience, strong crisis intervention skills, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
