Provide initial psychiatric examinations, prescribe psychotropic and/or addiction medication, participate in clinical case conferences, and communicate with primary counselors.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program
- National Board Certification in specialty area
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Specific experience with individuals with mental health needs (preferred)
- Completing all required collaboration hours by time of hire (preferred)
