Role Overview

Join Syneos Health as a Psychiatric Account Manager and build relationships with recognized experts and stakeholders in the therapeutic area, Community Mental Health Clinics, hospital/institutional systems, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs). The role involves developing and driving relationships with target institutions and community accounts, achieving success in a complex selling environment, and using data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.

What You Will Do

Develop and drive relationships with target institutions and community accounts, achieve success in a complex selling environment, use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making, and deliver clinical brand-specific presentations of product(s) to physicians and other appropriate healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences preferred
  • 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Healthcare industry experience required
  • Psychiatric experience is required
  • A working knowledge of the Schizophrenia field is strongly preferred
  • CMHC account management and/or Hospital/Institutional experience strongly preferred
  • Established relationships in the geography is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of formulary approval process and driving formulary approvals is preferred
  • Must live near to territory boundaries
  • Proven track record of success in a high science competitive selling environment
  • Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships and strong customer dedication
  • Proven track record of success in exceeding results
  • Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed
  • Strong communication, business analytics and account management skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
