Job Description
The Psychiatric Attendant (Mental Health) provides direct care to offenders with mental health issues, including development of individual treatment plans, training in daily living skills, and participation in leisure and recreational activities. The position requires a strong understanding of mental health principles and the ability to work effectively with offenders and treatment teams.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & writing common English vocabulary.
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. (Pursuant to a Federal Court Order, individual hired into this class at Oakwood Forensic Center)
