Role OverviewThe Psychiatric/DD Nurse will support adults in a residential setting to develop essential independent living and social skills. The role involves maintaining a safe and supportive environment, de-escalating crises, and transporting consumers to appointments as necessary.
What You Will Do
The Psychiatric/DD Nurse will implement personal and behavior plans, help with skills such as hygiene, medication management, food preparation, budgeting, and social interactions. The role also involves assessing and evaluating nursing and medical needs of patients, initiating and directing implementation of nursing care plans, and responding to emergency situations.

Requirements
- current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio
- experience in mental health and behavioral health
- ability to work directly with assigned consumers, implement personal and behavior plans, and help with skills such as hygiene, medication management, food preparation, budgeting, and social interactions
