Role Overview

The Department of Developmental Disabilities is a trauma-informed care agency focused on implementing core values and providing support to people with developmental disabilities. The Psychiatric/DD Nurse will assess and evaluate nursing and medical needs of patients, initiate and direct implementation of nursing care plans, and provide professional nursing care.

What You Will Do

The Psychiatric/DD Nurse will assess and evaluate nursing and medical needs of patients, initiate and direct implementation of nursing care plans, and provide professional nursing care. They will also direct the delivery of and evaluate psychiatric and nursing care of patients as delivered by lower-level professional and non-professional staff.
