Role OverviewThe Psychiatric/DD Nurse will provide health care services to clients on Living Area as ordered by physician, including assessing and evaluating nursing and medical needs, administering medications, and referring clients to various services. The nurse will also assist other staff with psychiatric and nursing care, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Mandatory overtime is required for this position.
What You Will Do
The Psychiatric/DD Nurse will perform advanced nursing procedures, treatment, and therapeutic activities, and refer clients to various services. The nurse will also assist with immunization programs, and perform tasks such as scheduling physical examinations, lab, x-rays, and diagnostic studies.
