Role OverviewNorthwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team. This role provides leadership and oversight to nursing staff while ensuring high-quality patient care in a behavioral health hospital setting. This is an hourly position exempt from bargaining units, with normal working hours of 6:00PM-6:30AM.
What You Will Do
Provide general and direct supervision of nursing staff, ensuring consistent adherence to standards of care. Conduct regular rounds in residential units and review nursing care plan documentation for accuracy and completeness. Review and follow up on Incident Reports, Codes, Medication Error Reports, Falls, and reports related to Mechanical Support Devices or Seclusion/Restraint. Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal reports to Nurse Executives regarding clinical operations, staffing, and patient care issues, and serve as Administrator on Duty (AOD) for the entire facility during after-hours shifts as needed.

Requirements
- Current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code
- 24 months experience in psychiatric nursing or delivery of nursing services to persons with developmental disabilities
- 3 months training or 3 months experience in employee training & development
- 3 courses or 9 months experience in public relations
- 3 courses or 9 months experience in counseling
