Role OverviewThe Psychiatric Technician III position works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all residents in the Specialized LTSR program, including mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health. The individual participates in carrying out resident's treatment plan goals and assisting with the treatment planning process, as well as providing support with direct care responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Facilitate psychotherapy groups to enhance positive peer interaction, develop problem solving skills, and assist individuals in following their treatment goals.

Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Social Work/Criminal Justice or related human service field, 2 years of paid or unpaid work experience in behavioral health, and knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Social Work/Criminal Justice or related human service field
- 2 years of paid or unpaid work experience in behavioral health, forensic, sexual offending behaviors or residential services
- Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system
- Valid Driver's License
- All Clearances required by OMHSAS
