Job Description
Independence Health is in search of a licensed Psychiatrist specializing in mental health, responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients using medication, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions.

Requirements

  • Examine, Diagnose, treat, provide care to patients
  • Direct, coordinate or supervise patient care activities of nursing or support services
  • Order and interpret the results of tests
  • Prescribe medication or treatment regimens and therapies
  • Collaborate with health care professionals to plan and provide treatment
  • Develop medical treatment plans
  • Conduct discharge planning
  • Participate in inpatient treatment teams
  • Consultations
  • Documentation in EMR
  • Advise and educate patients and families on conditions and treatments
  • Other duties as assigned.
