Job Description
The Young Adult Unit at Sheppard Pratt – Baltimore/Washington Campus is a safe and welcoming 17-bed inpatient unit designed for the treatment of adults ages 18 to 30 experiencing acute mental health conditions. The Psychiatrist on Sheppard Pratt’s Young Adult Unit provides expert psychiatric care for adults ages 18–30 with acute mental health conditions.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Active Maryland medical license with Controlled Substances Registration and valid DEA Certificate
  • Completion of a residency training program
  • Two years of experience preferred, including acute psychiatric care
  • Experience working with patients in acute behavioral health settings
