Role OverviewThe Health and Wellness Section is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to serve as Director, Health and Wellness Section. The selected candidate will have a detailed and intricate role supporting the advancement of the Department’s proactive approach to member wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on prevention, early support, and resilience.
What You Will Do
Duties include supervising the work of Psychologists and psychology staff, providing triage evaluation, conducting wellness checks, providing clinical supportive services, and overseeing recruitment and supervision of clinical psychologists and clinicians.

Requirements
- Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Valid Board Certification issued by the appropriate American Specialty Board in an approved medical specialty
- Four years of medical practice including one year of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity
