Job Description
School Psychologist position at Isely Traditional Magnet, responsible for providing psychological services to pupils, staff members, and patrons. The School Psychologist participates in the screening, pre-assessment, identification, placement, follow-up, and review of pupils for special education programs.

Requirements

  • Makes observations of children in various school settings
  • Administers individual psychological tests and other assessment instruments
  • Interprets test results and observations of individual pupils
  • Supports the mental health of pupils through individual and/or group psychological counseling
  • Participates in the referral of children to other appropriate agencies
