Job Description
The New York City Police Department is seeking a Psychologist, Level I, to conduct fitness for duty evaluations, provide supportive services, and participate in conferences and training. The job requires a doctoral degree in psychology, licensure as a Psychologist issued by the New York State Department of Education, and a minimum of two years of graduate work and two years of satisfactory full-time experience.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in psychology
  • Licensure as a Psychologist issued by the New York State Department of Education
  • Minimum of two years of graduate work and two years of satisfactory full-time experience
  • Completion of an American Psychological Association (APA) approved doctoral program in professional psychology
  • Completion of an APA approved internship in professional psychology
