Job Description
The New York City Police Department is seeking a Psychologist, Level I to join the Behavioral Care & Support Section. The successful candidate will conduct fitness for duty evaluations, provide supportive services, and attend psychological and general staff conferences.

Requirements

  • Completion of two years of graduate work in psychology
  • Doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, forensic psychology, clinical health psychology, or neuro-psychology
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time experience in one of the above areas
  • 240 hours of experience in personality testing, individual intelligence testing, and psychological and/or behavioral intervention
