Job Description
Provide excellent banking service to clients in a professional and courteous manner, maintain a basic understanding of our banking products and services, accurately and efficiently process client transactions, and fully comply with company and departmental policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions.
  • Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts and loan payments, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement as needed, and enters deposits and loan payments into computer records.
  • Processes credit card transactions.
  • Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and compares totaled amount to computer-generated proof sheet.
  • Ensures that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
  • Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
  • Counts, checks and packages coins and currency.
  • Assists with bank-by-mail and night depository functions, as necessary.
  • Works assigned days and other days as required for adequate branch staffing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
