Job Description
The Public Health Adviser will be responsible for collecting and transmitting medical records from assigned schools to the Central Health office. They will also create and update school health records, establish and maintain relationships with school personnel, and perform other duties related to health promotion and disease prevention.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Twelve semester credits in health education or in health, social or biological sciences
  • Six months of full-time satisfactory experience in a health promotion or disease intervention/prevention program
  • Ability to interview, conduct field investigations, assess health risks, make referrals, or collect and analyze epidemiological data
