Job Description
The Ohio Department of Health is seeking a Public Health Consultant to support school-based health programs in Ohio. The consultant will work with schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to develop and implement health programs, provide technical assistance, and coordinate training and health education. The ideal candidate will have experience in public health, grant writing, and program management, and a graduate degree in public health or a related field.

Requirements

  • 6 months of experience in providing direct service and/or consultation in a public health, community health, hospital, and/or clinic setting
  • completion of graduate core coursework in public health, health care, health administration, or a related field
  • ability to provide own transportation
