Job Description
The Ohio Department of Public Safety is seeking a Public Safety Intelligence Analyst to formulate and implement plans, policies, and procedures in response to time-sensitive threat information. The analyst will disseminate threat information to law enforcement partners and analyze problems related to sophisticated criminal and complex terrorism-related activity.

Requirements

  • 36 months of experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques
  • completion of an undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs, or a related field
  • completion of LEADS certification and biannual renewal
  • obtaining and maintaining a federal Security Clearance
  • valid driver's license to operate a state-owned vehicle or ability to provide own transportation
