Role OverviewThe Public Safety Intelligence Analyst will provide investigative support through the extraction and analysis of electronic devices, criminal case support, trend analysis, cryptocurrency tracing, and dark web investigations. This role is part of the Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center, and the analyst will work with public safety partners to identify and analyze informational databases, spreadsheets, and reports. The analyst will also prepare intelligence reports, products, and briefings for presentation to all public safety partners.
What You Will Do
The Public Safety Intelligence Analyst will develop research tools, methods, and intelligence request forms to accommodate intelligence information. The analyst will identify and analyze informational databases, spreadsheets, and reports to facilitate information exchange and understanding. The analyst will also prepare intelligence reports, products, and briefings for presentation to public safety partners.

Requirements
- 36 months of experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques
- completion of an undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs, or a related field
- 12 months of experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques
- LEADS certification
- secret level federal security clearance
