Job Description
The Respiratory Care teams at UT Southwestern are committed to providing high-quality care to patients. The Pulmonary Function Technician PRN position is responsible for performing PFT and CPX testing, arterial blood gas testing, and other clinical duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of PFT related pharmacology and be able to assemble and troubleshoot PFT devices.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in respiratory care from an accredited program
  • Six months of experience in a Pulmonary Function Lab
  • Texas Medical Board License
  • Registered by the NBRC
  • BLS Certification
  • RPFT Registration within 180 days
  • CPFT Certification within 180 days
