Role OverviewA Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a brake press machine to bend, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications. They read blueprints, adjust machine settings, and inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
Setup and operate machines to bend or straighten metal material, set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components, measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, read work orders or blueprints to determine specifications.

Requirements
- Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools
- Have good math ability and problem solving skills
- Read and interpret blueprints efficiently
- Perform physical actions which may include frequent bending, twisting, reaching, walking, consistent standing, and the ability to lift/carry and push/pull objects
