Job Description
The Purchaser III performs complex purchasing and procurement work, including purchasing and procuring commodities, equipment, and services using guidelines, rules, policies, and laws. The ideal candidate has strong verbal and written skills, excellent customer service, and must be a team player, and must live in or be willing to relocate to Texas to be considered for this position.

Requirements

  • One year and six months of experience in the purchasing and procurement of goods and services
  • Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
  • One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Purchaser II with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications
  • Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD)
  • Experience in government purchasing, specifically in information technology, facility services/maintenance purchases
  • Two or more years’ experience in the purchasing and procurement of goods and services
