Role OverviewThe Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for the daily management of purchasing process, as well as the management of the strategic procurement and logistics processes for Harmar Mobility. The position will require practical purchasing knowledge, the ability to manage domestic & LCR supply base, and the ability to strategically lead both people and processes to accomplish Harmar’s mission.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include devising and executing global supply chain strategy, managing global supply chain network, supplier relationships, and risk management, improving Harmar customer experience and driving profit margins, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of purchasing & logistics experience in a Manufacturing environment, 5 years of supervisory experience, and hands-on experience with international suppliers.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of purchasing & logistics experience in a Manufacturing environment required.
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Hands-on, direct experience with international suppliers.
- Experience with Excel, Word, MRP/ERP system, Transportation Management System (TMS). Syspro knowledge preferred
- Previous experience with MRP/ERP implementation including comprehensive understanding of bills of material.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- APICS certification is a plus.
