Job Description
The Market Purchasing Manager will oversee domestic purchasing for Bunzl Distribution's California Market, leading a team of 10-11 direct reports and managing purchasing activities to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient acquisition of products while maintaining high standards of inventory level management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in purchasing, preferably in the distribution environment
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of various supply chain principles
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid analytical skills using Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Experience with Blue Yonder or other leading ERP platforms
  • Managerial level planning, execution, time management, and communication skills
