Job Description
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing the Production Purchasing team and developing sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.

Requirements

  • Manage Purchasing team through use of standard Supply Chain metrics and workflow management
  • Drive processes to successful completion in support of on-time purchase order placement & delivery of product
  • Propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies
  • Adapt to strategic and tactical tasks
  • Work in a cross-functional team-oriented environment
  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Participate in supplier transition and readiness reviews
  • Develop strong relationship with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze root causes to lead resolution to a permanent fix that will mitigate a repeat of material shortages
