Job Description
JBS USA is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to perform purchasing duties, review purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and ensure smooth operations. The role involves coordinating with other departments, researching vendors, and maintaining inventory levels. The Purchasing Supervisor will also provide support to the Purchasing Department and potentially contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years as a Purchasing Assistant (preferred)
  • Knowledge of beef processing industry a plus
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Self-motivated, multi-task oriented
  • High level of ethics
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize time management
  • Knowledge of SAP software preferred
  • Good with mathematics, percentages, statistics, etc.
