Job Description
The primary role of the graphic design intern position is providing graphic design, video editing, videography and photography support to the Purdue Convocations Marketing Department. The goal of this position is to give students valuable real-world experience in a professional in-house design environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of one semester of college coursework successfully completed
  • Actively enrolled at Purdue University, Purdue Global or a local accredited college.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software programs
  • Flexible and dependable with a strong attention to detail
  • Problem solving, logic and reasoning skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Be timely and organized
  • Have an interest in the performing arts
  • Pursuit of a degree in art/design, marketing, communications, or fine/performing arts preferred
