Role OverviewThe QA Laboratory Technician will be responsible for plating and testing samples for pathogens, data entry, and media making. They will also assist with special projects and participate in audits and training.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include plating all RTC, RTE, and NPIS samples, testing samples for Salmonella, Salmonella Enteritis, and Listeria, preparing and making slurries for testing, setting up samples in LIMS, and entering results.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to use 3M Petri Film Reader, operate Autoclave, and follow Good Lab Practices. They will also be able to assist with special projects and participate in audits and training.
Requirements
- Capable of plating all RTC, RTE, and NPIS samples
- Ability to use 3M Petri Film Reader
- Capable of testing samples for Salmonella, Salmonella Enteritis, and Listeria
- Ability to prepare and make slurries for testing
- Ability to set up samples in LIMS system
- Ability to enter results in LIMS
- Ability to operate Autoclave
- Ability to follow Good Lab Practices
