Role Overview

The QA Performance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) systems meet stringent quality, performance, accessibility, and effective IT solutions. This involves developing automated test suites, performing load and performance testing, and analyzing defects and quality trends.

What You Will Do

Develops automated test suites, performs load and performance testing, supports Section 508 compliance validation, analyzes escaped defects and quality trends, and ensures readiness for production releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or an IT-related degree
  • 7-10 years' experience in developing automated test frameworks
  • Experience conducting pre-launch and post-launch performance testing
  • Experience analyzing load/performance defects
  • Experience producing Release Quality Metrics Reports
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum teams within CI/CD and DevSecOps environments
