Role Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for providing program-level leadership to accomplish the mission and expand the business by successfully developing uniformity across projects and clients.

What You Will Do

Coordinates with the Director of QAQC and project leadership to determine project budgets, identifies variances in the Scope of Work, and advises the Client promptly of any potential change orders.

The Program Manager will represent BVPI's interest in delivering services per the contractual requirements and company standards, and will work with the BVPI training department to develop and maintain a required training guideline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from a four-year college or university
  • 10 to 12 years related experience and/or training
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid passport
  • First responder (first aid + CPR)
  • OSHA 30 or local jurisdiction equivalent
  • NFPA 70E – Arc flash training
  • Code of ethics training
  • Time management skills
  • Active Listening skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with the psychrometric chart and application
  • Familiarity with energy transfers such as heat, hydronic, air, electricity, and kinetic and application
  • Knowledge of contracts and Scope of work (SOW) for projects being managed
  • Basic understanding of industry technical concept
  • The ability to monitor and assess the performance of self as well as others
  • The ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
  • The ability to motivate and direct people
  • The ability to be aware of others' reactions and understand why they react as they do
