Job Description
As the QA/QC Supervisor, you will lead the QA/QC Project Team, setting clear expectations and actively coaching and developing direct reports. You will ensure that the First-in Inspection process effectively reduces risk and minimizes cost due to fabrication and installation errors.

Requirements

  • 10 years of overall experience and/or training
  • 8 years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and/or other similar fields
  • Current certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and /or ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification
  • At least 3 years of experience leading and managing direct reports
  • Ability to read, write, and problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results
  • Excellent time management and written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
