What You Will Do
Monitor USDA-FSIS regulatory activities and plant compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements, prepare carcasses and product components for inspection, perform food safety and quality monitoring activities, and conduct product, process, and sanitation verifications.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have ability to read, write, and speak English, basic math skills, and basic knowledge of safe food handling practices. Previous experience in beef or protein processing, food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance is preferred.
Requirements

- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic math skills, including the ability to work with weights, measurements, and production information
- Basic knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Ability to use knives, hooks, and other job-related tools safely and effectively and lift up to 50 pounds
