Job Description
Overwatch is seeking a Commissioning QA/QC Data Center Technician to join their team in Amarillo, TX. The role involves ensuring the quality and compliance of data center construction and operations, and requires a strong understanding of Single-Line Drawings/ Blueprints and data center design principles.

Requirements

  • Conduct inspections of data center construction projects, ensuring compliance with blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Perform quality control testing on data center equipment and infrastructure, including power, cooling, and fire suppression systems.
  • Identify and document non-conformance, and collaborate with the construction team to implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to ensure all systems function properly.
  • Execute testing and commissioning activities in accordance with the designated site specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and findings.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders for quality assurance throughout the data center lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the transition of each system from construction, implement LOTO protocols and furnish additional expertise and technical support to enhance the commissioning process
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and quality standards for data center construction and operations.
