Job Description
QC Inspector 1 position available on night shift. Responsibilities include inspecting materials and finished goods, reviewing welding specs, and documenting non-conforming material and workmanship.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three years welding experience, or equivalent training in manufacturing/structural steel, Quality Control combination
  • Complete course requirements for Quality Control Welding Inspectors
  • Any applicable standards knowledge such as AWS, City of LA, API, UL, or STI
  • Thorough knowledge of blueprint reading and contract documents, when applicable
  • Excellent math skills
  • Leadership skills to motivate co-workers to quality workmanship
  • Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace
  • Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
  • Be dependable and trustworthy
