Role OverviewPerform lab tests on chemical formulas, raw materials, and finished foam or coating batches to ensure they meet strict safety and performance standards. Work in a Quality Control Lab to execute laboratory tests with accuracy and precision. Use instruments and other lab test equipment to determine sample/test results.
What You Will Do
Perform chemical tests, instrumental testing, and other special chemical and physical tests. Communicate with production staff and notify of test results. Stock sample preparation areas and clean test station and lab equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to be exposed to and smell chemicals used in the testing environment. Must be able to stand and work at a lab bench for long periods of time. Strong experience and knowledge in dealing with chemicals and their hazards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, required
- Associates Degree in a related field, preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
